Guess what arrived in my mail today? My Julep Maven November 2012 "Classic with a Twist" Box.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a little extra special gift from Julep for hitting my 1 year anniversary with the company. Has it been that long already? Julep is great for making these gestures for their customers.
I tried a little bit of the the frosting on my hands. It feels great, but I'm not all that thrilled with the smell. In my opinion, it's really strong.
They didn't show these in the previews, so these wipes were another pleasant surprise.

I got Minka as an add on! Love the dusty red in the matte, but had no idea it would have such character with gloss! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of matte finish polish. My number one reason is the excitement I get watching it transform with gloss. I've even seen lovely manis where people did a stamping design with clear gloss over a matte finish polish. It makes a lovely design on the polish.

Wondering if I should make sure to get it when its been a year...hehehe. Sneaky me:) I skipped this month because I had to but I am disappointed. Really wanted these new ones...
ReplyDeleteIt has been a calendar year since my first Maven box. They have only been around for a few months longer than that. I have almost been with them since they started. I haven't skipped a box yet. Although, I used to be a die hard purchaser of the Mystery Boxes and I cut those out of my budget for now.

ReplyDeleteIt's a really thick lotion. It's alright. Not the best I've ever used, but I go through a lot of lotion, so I'm sure I'll use it. :)
