SWATCHES: Alter Ego "Sun Goddess"

Check out this sunny manicure I put together with some layering and a stamp.

To create this look I started with a bright neon yellow shade from Kleancolor

Next I layered two coats of Alter Ego "Sun Goddess" over top of it. I love this shade. It's a orange-yellow base with lots of orange glitter in it. Very unique. The formula was flawless and applied very easily.

If you're a matte lover then you will love the finish on this polish. Here's two coats on a clear spoon and as you can see it dries to a perfectly matte finish.

Here's my little collection of Alter Ego polishes. Cynthia, the creator, is an awesome lady. She stands behind her product and offers great customer service.

St. Patrick's Mani: SNEAK PEAK OF AN UNRELEASED POLISH!

I have a vibrant St. Patrick's day mani to show you today. I'm hoping it will last for the weekend, but you never can know when it comes to polish.
I did this mani in 4 steps, but this was the final product:

I had not originally intended to do 4 layers. I just kept adding to this every day or so and this is how it ended up. Here's what I started with: This is 2 coats of a NOT YET RELEASED matte green pastel polish from my upcoming Spring Polish Line. It's called Green Goddess. I wouldn't have worn it so early, but it was just sitting there, on the shelf, and I had to wear it for a holiday mani. Couldn't resist.

Next I added 1 coat of my "Shamrock" polish.

I wore that little combo around for a while and then decided to sponge on Zoya "Holly" which is a lovely emerald shimmer polish and I put a few white stamps on accent nails.

Shamrock Polish, my entire St. Patrick's Day  line and all my other polishes are in stock at

"Green Goddess" is an addition to last year's Spring Matte Pastel Line. It is one of 3 BRAND NEW SHADES! I will be making a release and giveaway announcement sometime next week for these new colors. Stay tuned to my social media sites for upcoming details.

Fun nail art is one of my favorite things about the holidays
Have you been wearing holiday nails' or polishes? What do you think of this festive mani?

SWATCHES: Sinful Colors "4 Shades of Green"

Sorry, no sexy steamy novel here. Just some really lovely and inexpensive Sinful Color polishes to show you.

These colors have been in my stash for a while, and tis the season to wear them!!!! I like Sinful Colors because of the price. I don't love their formula personally, I think it gets thick quickly, but I guess that's what polish thinner is for.

Now onto the swatches.

Irish Green
First up is the wildly popular "Irish Green". It's a jelly finish bright green.
This is 3 coats, no topcoat.
As you can see their is still some visible nail line, so this isn't a full coverage polish by any means. It is still luscious and pretty none the less:

Green Ocean
"Green Ocean is a flaky and glitter loaded green/blue polish in a clear base.

I added one coat of "Green Ocean" over "Irish Green".
This was probably not a good idea because all those coats of polish looked "globby. I think I may have liked this polish better over a nice black or white creme polish. So please don't mind my bumps and bubbles. This swatch is less than perfect::

Gorgeous
I love this polish! It's a deep green metallic polish and the formula is awesome. This polish is really bright and multi-faceted.
Here's two coats, no topcoat:

The Nail Junkie
This is my name-sake polish. I saw this name on a bottle and I thought, hey...that's me! And there you have the reason behind the name I chose.
This polish is a green/blue jelly base with lots of green/blue glitters.

This polish may have also been better alone, but I layered two coats of it over "Gorgeous". It was much prettier than it photographed. Very sparkly and pretty.

So what do you think of these 4 shades of green Sinful Colors? Which is your favorite?

Essie "Sag Harbor" + Cult Nails "Happy Ending" + Stamping =

I got a new polish the other day from a blog sale over at The Traceface Philes. She has really good sales and this isn't the first time I've bought from her. She ships fast and uses lots of cute bubble wrap and tape. I highly recommend you check her blog out for sales and awesome coupons. Now onto the polish:

I couldn't wait to try my new Cult Nails polish so I put together this sweet fairy tale mani:

Here's two coats of  Happy Ending on a clear swatch spoon. I have to make one comment on this polish. I have several shredded glitter polishes and none of them lay this nicely. Usually they are jaggedy and even topcoat doesn't even them. This polish is not like that! It lays perfectly smooth on the nail. That's very nice.

I started this mani off with a pale blue-y grey Essie "Sag Harbor"

So what do you think of this mani?
