NAIL MAIL! Awesome Swap Package From My Friend Jen

I got a super awesome nail package last week from my good friend Jen from My Nail Polish Obsession. We have been friends and polish swap buddies for quite some time now. I love how thoughtful and creative her swap packages are.

So here's what she sent:

I am lucky enough to own several of these textured sand polishes. I have heard a few people ask if their are dupes for the orange shades. Here's a side by side comparison of Zoya, OPI and Julie G orange textured polishes. As  you can see, they are quite different:

So what do you think of this swap package? Do you swap polishes with anyone?

Revlon "Girly" + Stamping =

Check out this "Girly" mani I did!

I used 3 coat of Revlon "Girly" as a base for this manicure. It's a pink jelly polish loaded with silver, blue, pink and purple glitters. It's a very pretty color and builds nicely on the nail.

For the stamping I used Konad Special White and a girly flower design from the third set of Bundlmonster Plates.

So what do you think of this mani? Too girly? Something you would wear?

STASH ADDITIONS: Revlon "Heavenly" and "Girly"

My local drugstores ALMOST never have anything new in a timely fashion. That is until now!
I stumbled across these two new Revlon lovelies when I was shopping and snatched them up with a quickness. Especially since "Girly" was on my WISHLIST

Here's two coats of each on clear swatch spoons:

So what do you think of these two Revlon polishes? Do you have them already?

NEW YEAR MANI: Black + Silver + Glitter + Stamping =

I put together this simple but glitzy mani to wear for the New Year holiday.

For the base I used Revlon "Silver Dollar" and Covergirl "Black Diamond". Both are dreamy polishes with great formula. Here's two coats of each.

I enjoy the holiday. I partake in a fun night of drinks, friends, "pork and kraut" and watching the ball drop on television. I may try to do my nails one more time for the New Year. I'm thinking of doing "the ball" from NY City. Not sure how I want to do that though.

So what do you think of my New Year mani? What are your traditions/resolutions/plans for the day?

If I don't write again before the holiday, I want to wish you and yours a wonderful, happy, healthy and productive new year!
