HALLOWEEN MANI TIME! My "Pumpkin" Nail Polish with Nail Art

I love the Halloween season! I love the colors, the sweater weather and of course the holiday itself!
Here is a festive mani I came up with using my own "Pumpkin" nail polish.

My friend Jacki from Adventures in Acetone inspired me to try some free hand nail art. She's fantastic at it and I figured I'd try out one of her simple tutorials shown HERE

"Pumpkin" as well as all my other polishes are available now at
Place your order today and you still have time to get it before the holiday!

HOLIDAY MANI: Happy Memorial Day!!!!

Happy Memorial Day!
And special thanks to all the brave soldiers, both past and present.

Here's a simple red white and blue mani I put together. I was going to stamp white stars over this, but with all the cooking and cleaning I was doing for the holiday festivities, I'm afraid I didn't have much "nail time". Regardless, this polish by Whimsical Ideas by Pam is AMAZING!!!

Here is the lovely "Suess". This is two coats, with topcoat:

So what do you think of this amazing polish?

EASTER-SPRING MANI: Pastels and Flowers

I decided to put together a Spring Easter Mani. It's something delicate and colorful.

For this mani I used my "Rose" and "Green Goddess" polishes as a base. They are such festive shades. This is two coats of each, no topcoat.

Next I added some floral stamping and two coats of FEVERlacquer "Peeps and Bunnies". This polish is amazing and coats beautifully. I love how unique it is.

"Rose" and "Green Goddess" as well as my other polishes are AVAILABLE NOW at:

"Peeps and Bunnies" is available through Wishful Bath and Beauty and can be found at

NEW YEAR MANI: Black + Silver + Glitter + Stamping =

I put together this simple but glitzy mani to wear for the New Year holiday.

For the base I used Revlon "Silver Dollar" and Covergirl "Black Diamond". Both are dreamy polishes with great formula. Here's two coats of each.

I enjoy the holiday. I partake in a fun night of drinks, friends, "pork and kraut" and watching the ball drop on television. I may try to do my nails one more time for the New Year. I'm thinking of doing "the ball" from NY City. Not sure how I want to do that though.

So what do you think of my New Year mani? What are your traditions/resolutions/plans for the day?

If I don't write again before the holiday, I want to wish you and yours a wonderful, happy, healthy and productive new year!

HOLIDAY MANI: My "Snowflake" Polish + Gradient + Stamping =

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOURS!!!!

Here is the festive mani I'm sporting for the holiday.

I started with two coats of my "Snowflake" polish. I've really been loving on this color the past few days. It goes well with all the freshly fallen snow we have here in Ohio.

I added some Red Dog Designs "Temptress" for a green glitter gradient. I then added a simple holly stamp accent, and dotted the berries in red. This manicure was really quick. I'm getting faster at doing gradients gradients, since I've been wearing them a lot this season.

Here is a photo of ALMOST everything I used for this mani. Left out of the photo, are my basecoats and topcoats.

My dotting tool, stamping tools, a holiday plate from my friend Jin, and a makeup sponge.

I have had a few people ask about clean up brushes lately. Here's what I use. It's a small slanted paintbrush from the craft store. It was $2 and I've been using it for more than a year. The bristles aren't frayed, or broken, and none of the bristles have fallen out. Even the handle has held up perfectly against my mini-vat of acetone.

I use 100% Acetone for my clean up. It's just quicker, easier and cheaper for me. I don't use anything else.

Quite a combo of polishes!

So what do you think of this holiday mani? Do you have any special holiday plans?

HOLIDAY MANI: Zoya "Posh" + Stamping =

Check out this holiday mani I put together with a beautiful matte polish and some very simple stamping:

Zoya "Posh": an amazing red matte finish polish. AMAZING!!!!
Basecoat, Two coats of polish, no topcoat

Next I added some simple stamping using my Bundlemonster stamping plates and the new stamping plates my friend Jin sent me.

Here's where the magic happens: I added topcoat. I love matte finish polish because it literally transforms into a new polish when you add topcoat.

So what do you think of this holiday mani?
