I now have a number one favorite polish! Thanks Traci!

I have had this polish on my Wishlist for as long as I've had a wishlist on my blog. I can finally cross it off. Traci had a ginormous blog sale and lucky me, I finally picked up this long time lemming. :) YAY!!!!!!

Nerd Lacquer: Hyperspace Bypass

What do you think? I know there are a lot of yellow haters out there but I'm not one of them. This polish is so glittery and multidimensional and certainly very different from anything in my collection. I have wanted this polish FOREVER and I am not the least bit disappointed.

  3. Yay! So great that you got a Nerd! Sounds like Amanda has fallen on some difficult times and has been out of the loop for a while. She has some amazing polishes and I hope she comes back one day. JinJit is right, it looks like Dijon! Yum!

  5. I was not fast enough getting to my blogs when Traci had some Nerds up for sale...cherish this pretty...because Nerd vanished off the face of the earth and really pissed off a lot of folks. I have a feeling that if she returns she will need to get a new name and start all over. She had an etsy shop that was taken down. I got a note in the email from Harlow & Co who carried Nerd with the full disclosure of how the person who is Nerd did not respond to any emails - personal or business at all after many repeat tries and thus Harlow & Co was taking down the Nerd corner..they also really went after Nerd on not following through with orders placed etc. It was really a full disclosure. I know we all have issues and problems - but you don't vanish when your name is gotten as big already in indie polish as Nerd was. They had some fab polishes. Right now I really am lemming a lot of the Cameo polishes - she left etsy like a lot of the folks are doing - and put up her own sales web site. Others, (and I hate this) are using Facebook to sell their product having also backed out of etsy due to fees and things not staying in the shopping carts as the setting were defined. I BEG of any of you - don't sell you stuff via FB - too many changes on FB right now - also so many folks are not even allowed to have a FB account unless it's fake and you are lying to your employer. There are a ton of companies now that you have to sign an agreement not to maintain a FB presence. There are employers who not only have concerns over the time wasted at work on FB - but also leaks about company products/production - even stuff in a background photo shot at work. FB is too out there now days - no privacy guarantee - and I sure don't want to have to depend on folks like me having to have a FB account and follow anyone selling polish there. Etsy not good for ya? Make your own web site for selling - get your mailing list really organized and broadcast email updates to folks to let them know when you are in stock on X and Y - wait list info - shipping info. And don't drop off the face of the earth like Nerd did.

    1. Wow! Sounds like I need you to help with some web design. And actually, I have been going back and forth on how I should sell my Summer Line. Etsy is so easy, it's hard not to go that route. I would much rather sell through my blog, but I really don't have any web based marketplace experience. I suppose I could google it. If you have any info at all for me, i'd love for you to shoot me an email. I could use some guidance on how to approach the process. Thank you for your comment. And I don't plan on disappearing. I don't hate Amy from Nerdlacquer. I feel bad...like maybe she died??? Sad to say it, but yeah, I'm sure if she fell off, it was for a good and personal reason. I personally don't feel like she owes anyone an explanation. She didn't rip anybody off or steal money and run. She simply stopped producing. I don't know why, but being a positive minded person, my mind doesn't immediately start thinking it was anything selfish or bad. I just hope she's doing okay. And I would want her to know that she's got big fans here waiting for her triumphant return, should that day ever come. Thanks for your comment. I appreciate the advice. And like I said...mail me!! :)
