August 2012 Julep Maven "American Beauty" Box

So, I am normally an "It Girl". I switched my box this month because I preferred the colors in the "American Beauty" box.  This months theme was "metallics" . Also, Julep is celebrating their one year anniversary, and may I say, CONGRATS!!! I have been a Maven for almost this entire year, and I truly think it is a wonderful service. I like trying colors I wouldn't normally try. I like being informed on trending colors. I like trying different manicure and pedicure products. I like getting gifts in the mail. So this is an all around useful service for me.

Now, here's what was in my box. Look at the cute shopping bag. That was a nice surprise.

I am thrilled with the box. I really love Stefani. It's a bluish-grey metallic polish with gold flecks in it. Stunning!!!

If you want aren't a Maven and would like to find out more, I have a referel link on the right hand side of my page. As well as a coupon code to get your first box for only a penny. Cancel at any time. No obligations to continue. Also, you have options to skip months and choose whatever style profile suits you best each month.  For a penny, why not try it?

So what do you think of this months box? What are your thoughts about the metallic polish trend?

  1. Hmm... these really do look exciting. I am more thrilled over Dakota really, but that's not fair - I have a severe fetish to anything orange. LOL

    1. It's more of a peachy mauve in person. Not bad actually. Good on certain skin tones.

  3. Hey there!

I have been skimming your blog and actually found that I LOVE IT! Which of the August colors do you see as being your favorite? Also have you chosen your September box yet?
