3 part mani: Part 1: Polish: Revlon "Sunshine Sparkle"

  • 2 coats Nail Envy
  • 1 coat Bridge the Ridge
  • 4 whopping coats of Revlon Sunshine Sparkle (BOO!!!I hate when I have to put on more than 2 coats of a polish!)
  • 1 coat Seche Vite Fast Dry Topcoat

This polish looked so sparkly in the bottle, but the sparkles aren't really pronounced on the nail. :( Darn. I love sparkle.

I love yellow!!! Especially in the spring. What do you think? Are you brave enough for yellow?

  2. I just bought Hard Candy - Splendid. It's a really bright yellow creme if you haven't seen it. I haven't worn it yet but I sure do plan on it! I like this yellow but it's not for me, I have a similar NYC color and it doesn't work for me.

  3. Really good shade of yellow - one I actually COULD wear and not look ill. But skip these other Revlon lines that are so thin. Try the new lasts up to 11 days Colorstay by Revlon - it's amazing! I have had my blue one on now for 10 days with a couple color overlays and new top coat (which I use my own SV and my Orly base in Nail Armor - the Orly Bonder makes a lot of the long lasting polishes pop off - like the entire nail color pops off as if it were a fake nail. I agree...do not like to do more than 2 - max 3 coats to get coverage I want - I also don't like to wait for coats to dry totally between coats!

I love a good yellow that suits my medium-olive skin well.
