Nailspiration: Think Outside the Box Giveaway (CLOSED!)

First of all, I want to say a few thank you's in my world. Here's a few very wonderful women who have been my inspiration for blogging.

My real life BFF- Sarah Crawford

And all the other billion blogs in my reader.

This is fun, isn't it???

Now on to the giveaway. I've titled this my Nailspiration Giveaway because I want all you nail artists to think outside the box when you paint your nails. This is art and your nails are your canvas. I challenge one of my lucky readers to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX for the month of December and try something new for Christmas. Here's a list of what you will win, and why.

*All items are NEW and UNUSED and purchased by ME

1. Red and Green Nail Polish: I challenge you to be festive and frugal. We all want the best polish but we don't need it. There are amazing colors right at your local drugstores. A good strengthening base coat and a fast dry topcoat will help a good mani last a lot longer, but it's not necessary. I use OPI Natural Nail Strengthener and either Seche Vite Topcoat or Oh So Wet Topcoat (Sometimes all three!) Just have fun and paint your nails. It's theraputic!!!

2. Acrylic Paints: I challenge you to use plain old acylic paint for nail art. It's super easy to work with. Doesn't take long to dry. And when you make a mistake, you can wipe it off with an alcohol soaked cotton ball and it doesn't take off the nail polish underneath. Seal your design in with some topcoat and you're on your way. Check out Robin Moses for some great acrylic paint YouTube tutorials. Love her!!!! Bigtime!!!!

3. Nail Decals: I challenge you to wear nail art on your toes. They work awesome for pedicures and stay on forever. Just stick them on your dry, polished big toe and seal them in with a thick layer of topcoat. They look cute and they get more wearing time.

4. Dotting tools: I challenge you to use these for dotting and drawing. Use the very smallest tip to draw designs on your nails with polish, or acrylic paint. AWESOME!!! Check out some Cutepolish tutorials on Youtube. She is also AMAZING!!! A mechanical pencil without lead or a toothpick also work great.
5. A Windsor & Newton University 000 Paintbrush: I challenge you to look at regular paint brushes from the craft store in a new way. I use this exact one. It's very cheap and works very well for me. The craft store also has tons of other brushes I've been investing in. I love paint brushes. They are 100 times better than nail brushes and are 75% cheaper. I didn't really do the math. That was just an estimate.

6. Eight Sponges: I challenge you to sponge on your polish. But wait till it gets a little tacky...it makes the glitter stick better. Dab your sponge on a paper towel before you do your nail, to make sure the consistency of the paint is what you want.
7. Three Color Wheels: I challenge you to practice your nail art skills. And practicing is a lot easier on nail wheels. You get to see how crappy your nail art is, before you have to a) take it all off or b) get stuck leaving the house in a ridiculous mani that you only convinced yourself you like, because well...it took so long to do it.
8. A White Felt Mat: I challenge you to use this for doing your nails. It costs very little at a craft store (.25 at our craft store, I'm sure they are cheaper in bulk). You can use it one of two ways: cut it up and use it to take off your nail polish or use it as a mat to put under your hands while you do your nail art. Nail art can be messy. Make sure you prepare.

9. Lovely Silver and Black Bag with Pink Satin Lining: I challenge you to organize your nail stuff. It helps make the process of doing your own nails more enjoying. Who wants to dig through piles of crap when they need a tool?? Keep it allin one place. Keep it clean. Take care of it.

10. Candy: I challenge you to enjoy yourself! These are 3 of my most favorite candies and I know you’ll enjoy them while you do your nails or if you're living the slim life, simply give them out to guests in your home. Nobody turns down candy. Ever.

Simply fill out the form below with your answers to the questions. Each answer is worth an entry into the drawing. This giveaway IS OPEN INTERNATIONALLY.

Good luck my lovely readers!!!!
