NAIL MAIL and STASH ADDITIONS: Swap Package From My Friend Hazel and a Mini-Swap With My Friend Erin

Check out this amazing swap package I got today from my friend Hazel.
She definitely crossed quite a few polishes off my wishlist. Thanks!!!

Mmmm....I love Mexican Candy!

Look at all my new polish babies!

I love Christmas polishes.

My very first Chanel. I will be posting swatches of this as soon as I change my polish.

And here's a little swap I did in person with a friend of mine.

So what do you think of my stash additions? Do you have any of these polishes?

This Week's Stash Additions: Sally's Beauty Haul, Giveaway Win and Walmart

First off, is my little mini-shopping spree from Sally's Beauty. I had a few coupons to use so I splurged a little.

These bottles work great for decanting polish

I stocked up on my nail strengthener and ridge filler. I also got a few of the Glam FX polishes and one of the Electronica polishes from Orly. They were just released, but I had never heard of them. The only one I really loved anyway was the pink. Although, I shouldn't have said that, because I could see it somewhere in the next several days and be eating my words.

Orly Sashay My Way, Spazmatic and Preamp

I picked up a clay mask by Queen Helene. I've already used it twice and I love it. I also picked up a new nail file. I love this kind. It's soft and is made for natural nails.

I picked up two new colors from the China Glaze Safari Collection

Desert Sun and I Herd That

In addition to this little haul from Sally's I also won a giveaway from The Traceface Philes and I got one of 6 Butter London Polishes she was giving away. Yipee!!!!

I have had my eye on this bottle of Essie the last few trips I've made to Walmart. I finally gave in and bought a bottle. I love this color!!!!

Look at all the luscious gold sparkle....

So how did I do? What colors did you give in and buy this week?

2 Part Mani: Part 1: China Glaze "Sun Worshiper"

I didn't like this polish at first, but as I wore it around, it grew on me. It's a really obnoxious orange even though the photographs appear more "yellow-y". The formula is great, but it's more of a jelly and its pretty sheer, so expect some VNL, even after 3 coats.

For this Mani I used:
  • 2 coats of Nail Envy
  • 1 coat of Butter London Nail Foundation
  • 3 coats of China Glaze Sun Worshiper (and it still wasn't opaque! Ugh)
  • 1 coat Butter London P.D. Quick Topcoat

China Glaze Sun Worshiper was released by China Glaze with their 2010 Poolside Collection. It's a wonderful set of summer neons that have a lovely suede finish. These are part of China Glaze's core collection and are readily available where these polishes are sold.

This Week's Stash Additions: My First Deborah Lipmann and Butter London Polishes

I am so pleased with this week's additions.

I got the bottle of Claire's Candy Shop from my friend Jessica. I picked up the two bottles of Hard Candy for $4 a piece at my local Walmart. I like Hard Candy a lot. There was only a few of their line that I don't have yet. I will likely buy these few soon.
Hard Candy Fabuluxe
Hard Candy Frenzy
Claire's Candy Shop

2 coats of each on a color wheel:
Candy Shop: a pink jelly with multi-colored glitters

Frenzy: A luscious turquoise cream

Fabuluxe: a dense, fine, raspberry glitter in a raspberry jelly. It's opaque in just a few coats.

And here's my high priced beauties that I got a great deal on.

Essie Jag-U-Are

Deborah Lipmann Ruby Red Slipper
This is the first of this brand in my collection

Butter London Nail Foundation and Fast Dry Topcoat
I have had this set on my wishlist for quite a while now.

Jag-U-Are: a metallic candy apple red

Ruby Red Slippers: a red glitter in a black jelly
I have been on the lookout for a red glitter jelly combo for a minute. I would have just gotten the WnW version, but I thought I'd give DL a try.

Check out the deal I got on these!! I used the Dermstore.com coupon from this months MyGlam Bag. It was a $25 off coupon.
