ANOTHER SURPRISE NAIL MAIL! From my friend Hazel

Talk about my lucky week: I got nail mail from my friend Jin and the very next day, I received this wonderful surprise from my friend Hazel. 

All these surprises? What did I ever do to deserve such wonderful friends? I am so grateful! 

Check out this nail mail that Hazel sent: 

Let me just say I am obsessed with Mexican candy. They mix sweet and salty, and I love it! It is not at all available here in Ohio. It NEEDS TO BE! Along with Raspadas and Mexican hot dogs.  Hazel remembered and sent me a bag of my favorite suckers! 

Hazel also sent me a few polishes from my wish list and then some!!!! I have had my eye on the China Glaze Bohemian collection for a while now. I love all of these so much!

SURPRISE POLISH MAIL: From my friend Jin

Check out this lovely package from my friend Jin. I wasn't expecting this at all, so imagine my surprise when I received not one but TWO SURPRISE INTERNATIONAL PACKAGES!

I love these plates! How cute are these designs!? I've actually tried a few of them out already and they work awesome! 

Zoya "Posh": This polish has been on my wishlist forever and a day. Probably since I started it over a year ago I do believe. 

"Posh" is a beautiful red matte finish polish. Perfect for the holidays. 

China Glaze "Jungle Queen": This polish was also from my wishlist. I love the Safari collection by ChG and have been picking up a few here and there. This is a welcome addition. 

This is a purply-grey polish. Just lovely!

HOLY HOLO: China Glaze "Sexagon"

This is China Glaze "Sexagon". It's silver holo. 

I am in love with this polish! It looks like I have rainbows on my fingertips. Amazing!!! 

My lovely friend Gina sent me this polish, and I'm so glad she did. 

All swatches are two coats, no underwear, with topcoat.

A Polish Swap From My Friend Jacki

I recently did a swap with Jacki from Adventures in Acetone. Here's what she sent me: 

These are two matte finish polishes from the Born Pretty Store: 

 I have been looking for more stamping polishes, namely orange, both of these Milani polishes work great! I tried them! 

 Lastly, she sent this gorgeous periwinkle shade of China Glaze. I've been hunting blues lately and this is a perfect purple-blue shade. 

So what do you think of this swap package?? She also sent candy, but my kids can't see candy without stealing it from me. So it didn't make it into the photo.  :) 

China Glaze "Desert Sun" + Red Dog "Lady is a Tramp" + Stamping =

I put together a seasonal Fall manicure using China Glaze "Desert Sun" from the 2012 Safari Collection and a VERY SPECIAL polish that my friend Gina from Red Dog Designs sent me. 

I used 2 coats of "Desert Sun" 

Gina made me a custom polish for my birthday. She knows me all to well. I love gold. I love red. I love Sinatra. This polish is perfect! 

I used one thick coat to create this layering. 

So what do you think of this fantastical Fall mani?? I love the trees and colors of Fall in Ohio and that's what this manicure reminds me of.
